Honey isn't just nature’s sweetener — it’s liquid gold packed with purpose.
When a bee collects nectar from flowers, she stores it in her honey stomach, then returns to the hive to pass it (mouth-to-mouth) to other bees. Through enzymes and evaporation, that watery nectar becomes thick, antibacterial, shelf-stable honey.
Honey is mostly:
Fructose & glucose (natural sugars)
Water (less than 20%)
Trace vitamins, minerals, enzymes, and antioxidants
It’s also naturally antimicrobial — ancient cultures used it for wounds and medicine. Next time you stir it into tea, just know: bees made that drop by drop, flower by flower.
